Greetings on the 650th anniversary of Kirov

The message
reads, in part:
“Your city plays an important role in strengthening
the industrial and defence potential of Russia, and in developing science,
culture and education. You are rightly proud of the many generations of your fellow
Kirovans whose achievements in labour and military service brought glory to the city. The natives of this region on the Vyatka River, known since the oldest
times, continue to courageously fight defending Russia these days.
Today, Kirov is a big and beautiful modern city and a major centre of machine engineering and timber processing with solid transport,
energy and social infrastructure. Of course, the local folk crafts, in particular,
the famous Dymkovo toys, are known around the world“.
